Pushpa 2 Runtime Locked at 3 Hr 21 Minutes!

With just nine days to go for the release of Pushpa 2: The Rule, every update about the film is turning into a hot topic. The latest buzz is about the film’s runtime, which reportedly stands at an impressive 3 hours and 21 minutes. If this information is accurate, it would make Pushpa 2 one of the longest straight Telugu films in decades.

The last time a film with such an extended runtime made waves was Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, which ran for a similar duration. Initially met with skepticism, Animal proved its critics wrong as audiences thoroughly enjoyed Ranbir Kapoor’s stellar performance and gripping storytelling, despite having just one interval.

For Pushpa 2, locking in this runtime could be a festival for Allu Arjun fans. However, the long runtime may pose challenges for multiplex scheduling, as more time between shows could limit the number of daily screenings. Nevertheless, following the successful scheduling model used for Animal, exhibitors may find a way to manage. Considering the immense demand for Pushpa 2, its pull at the box office is expected to far outweigh any logistical hurdles.

With an interval included, audiences will need to stay immersed in the cinematic experience for over three hours. While this might sound daunting, if the content is compelling, it’s unlikely to be a problem for viewers. However, the tight turnaround between shows may leave multiplexes with only a few minutes to reset.

An official announcement regarding the runtime is still awaited. Meanwhile, the post-production work for Pushpa 2 is progressing at a brisk pace. Director Sukumar is closely overseeing the final copy to ensure everything is on schedule. The team is also planning promotional events alongside wrapping up the final touches on the film.

Reportedly, the first premieres are being planned for the night of December 4, with distributors already gearing up for the grand release.

Pushpa 2: The Rule is set to release worldwide on December 5, 2024, and the excitement is at an all-time high.
