Market is everything for the stars. With each films, every actor wants to become a star, thus upgrading his market value too. Indian cinema has witnessed many stars gaining stardom and upgrading their levels. Now, the current top star in terms of receiving the highest remuneration is Icon star Allu Arjun.
There is a standard and cliche opinion that the highest paid star will be from Bollywood. But, Telugu cinema already became the visiting card of Indian cinema and the highest paid actor has emerged from South this time. According to a report published by Forbes India, Allu Arjun receives a remuneration of Rs. 300 Cr for every film.
Allu Arjun even beat Shah Rukh Khan in terms of receiving the highest remuneration. Thalapathy Vijay who is on the verge of retirement from films stands in the second place with an approximate remuneration of a remuneration ranging from 130 Cr to 275 Cr for one film.
Shah Rukh Khan settled to the third place with an approximate remuneration of 150 Cr to 250 Cr for a project. The fourth and fifth places are occupied by Rajinikanth and Aamir Khan with their remunerations ranging from 125 Cr-270 Cr, and 100 Cr to 275 Cr respectively. Prabhas stands in the sixth place with a remuneration between 100 Cr and 200 Cr. The list is then followed by Ajith Kumar, Salman Khan, Kamal Haasan and Akshay Kumar.
Among the top ten stars, we have two of them from Telugu and 6 of them from South, displaying the dominance of South films across the globe.
Icon star Allu Arjun stands tall leading from the front and his market value shot up in the recent past. The first part of Pushpa did extremely well in North and ahead of the film’s second part, there is a huge craze surrounding the actor now. There are already reports about the film’s pre-release business crossing 1000 Cr.
As Pushpa Part 2 is gearing up for a grand release on December 5th, huge arrangements are being made for the premieres. The film will have a massive release across the globe.
