Robinhood’s Press Meet Hijacked By Questions Related To ‘Pushpa2: The Rule‘

Published by

December 2024 is probably the most important month yet for the production house ‘Mythri Movie Makers’ since its inception in 2015. The costliest film yet from the production house and India’s most-awaited film ‘Pushpa2: The Rule’ coming to theatres in eight days. And, they have one more release, Nithiin, Sreeleela & Venky Kudumula’s ‘Robinhood’ coming to theatres on 25th December. Both films are currently in the promotion phase and both the units including the producers are busy promoting the movies across various platforms.

As the release date is fast approaching, the Pushpa fever is gripping up the nation. The success of promotional events, the trailer and ‘Kissik’ song release and Devi Sri Prasad’s outburst on producers during the Chennai pre-release event, are the current discussion topics among the movie-going public, people from the industry and media personnel.

At a time when people are in no mood to consume any movie-related news other than ‘Pushpa2: The Rule’, the team of ‘Robinhood’ held a press meet today in Hyderabad. Nithiin, Sreeleela, Venky Kudumula, and Naveen & Ravi, the producers of the film attended the event and participated in a Q&A session with the media personnel. Not so surprisingly, journalists hardly asked any questions related to ‘Robinhood’ and most of the questions were directed at the producers related to ‘Pushpa2: The Rule’ and at Sreeleela who danced along with Allu Arjun in ‘Kissik’ song.

Though Nithiin did not get visibly irked, it must have been very uncomfortable for him to see the journalists asking questions related to some other movie at a press meet related to his upcoming film. Kudos to Nithiin for patiently sitting through and answering only a very few questions directed at him in a thirty-minute-long Q&A session. A few other heroes may have lost their temper but Nithiin who is known for his no-nonsense & non-controversial behaviour, did not create any unwarranted issues at the event. The team would have either mandated journalists to only ask questions related to ‘Robinhood’ or would have held a press meet after the release of ‘Pushpa2: The Rule’ to get better visibility for the film.

Meanwhile, Nithiin during his speech at the press meet exuded immense confidence in the film’s success and said ‘Robinhood’ would be a sure-shot blockbuster at the box office this Christmas. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on the 25th of December.
