I Was The First Actor To Win National Award In 69 Years Of Telugu Cinema – Allu Arjun

Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 The Rule is just less than a week away from hitting the screens worldwide. The team joined for yet another promotional event, this time in Mumbai. Allu Arjun and Rashmika shared their experiences while they were shown a few random pictures of the Pushpa journey.

When Allu Arjun was shown the picture of him receiving the prestigious National Award, the actor shared his thoughts before and after the National Award. ALlu Arjun said he always wanted to win a National Award for the Best Actor and he expressed the same wish with the director Sukumar.

The director also worked for Allu Arjun’s dream and did his best. Sukumar promised Arjun to make a film that everybody feels that it deserves a National Award. Allu Arjun humbly says that his winning National Award is just because of Sukumar’s work.

While saying so, Allu Arjun said, ‘It makes it even more special because, in the last 69 years, no Telugu actor has won a National Award. It was in my heart and I was the first actor in 69 years of Telugu films to win National Award. That will always be a remarkable acheievement in my life. It is priceless and it only happened because of one man, my director Sukumar. ‘

Allu Arjun also shared moments and stories behind the journey of the Pushpa franchise.
