Ram Gopal Varma is a synonym for controversies in the film industry. Over the last decade and a half, RGV’s films have been inconsistent and are worthless. Many times, his films scored debacles at the box office. However, he is still resorting to cheap publicity tricks. Currently, he is cashing the craze of Pushpa and Allu Arjun.
RGV has been working on a film currently, and its promotions have begun. He already shared the first look poster and confirmed its release date. However, instead of talking about his film, he is unnecessarily pulling the strings of the cold war between the Mega fans and Allu fans.
“The MEGA craze for #Pushpa2 is clear proof that ALLU is the new MEGA.. Hey @alluarjun, u are not the BAHUBALI but the MEGABALI of STARS” wrote RGV today on social media.
Earlier also, he posted similar tweets on social media to gain attention, especially during the release time of big budgeted flicks. Whenever he finds a chance, he keep posting about Mega and Allu families without any context and makes irrelevant comments.
In the last decade, no mainstream actor or producer or a production house approached RGV for a collaboration. He already lost the respect of many in the film industry. Especially, after his legal battle with the government of Andhra Pradesh now, with regards to sharing derogatory posts on social media, he is spoiling his reputation.
It’s high time that RGV should realise that these kind of cheap publicity tricks will not help in selling at least a single ticket for his film. Wake up, RGV.
