The complete actor Mohanlal is making his directorial debut with the fantasy film Barroj, for which the latest Telugu trailer has been released. Mythri Movie Makers has acquired the Telugu distribution rights, and the film is set for a Pan-India release on December 25.
Fascinated by the story, Mohanlal took on the dual role of director and lead actor in this ambitious project. The trailer looks fun and interesting, and the kids will enjoy it in theatres. In Barroj, Mohanlal plays a genie tasked with protecting Vasco da Gama’s hidden treasure, comprising immense riches like gold and diamonds.
The genie has been safeguarding the treasure for 400 years, waiting to pass it on to its rightful heirs. The film revolves around this intriguing quest and promises a mix of fantasy, adventure, and mystery.
Produced under Mohanlal’s banner, Aashirvad Films, with Antony Perumbavoor as the producer, Barroj is a dream project for the legendary actor-director. The film will be released globally in five languages: Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
