Post the death of Jayalalithaa, big heroes of Tamil film industry have been trying to fill the gap by announcing their entry into politics. Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan have already declared this political entry and they are eyeing the next year Assembly polls.
After Rajini and Kamal, the next big name that was every now and then heard was of Thalapathy Vijay’s. Some incidents such as CBI raids have deeply hurt Vijay and his fans have been pressuring him to enter politics. But Vijay is neither accepting nor denying fans’ requests. He has been maintaining stoic silence on politics.
On Thursday afternoon, all of a sudden a few media reports claimed that Vijay is soon going to enter politics. The media reports further added that Vijay has registered his political party’s name at the Election Commission of India. ‘All India Thalapathy Vijay Makkal Iyakkam’ is said to be Vijay’s political party’s name.
Well, the official statement from Vijay release a while back said he is no way related to his father’s political party. Vijay asked his fans not to join or serve the party just because his father started it. The superstar made it clear that he has nothing to do with the political party registration in his name by his father.
“This is not Vijay’s political party. I can’t comment whether he will enter electoral politics,” said SA Chandrasekaran. Well that was a big twist in the tale amidst a huge uproar in the Tamil Nadu politics.
