Team Game Changer Approaches Cyber Police

The piracy and negativity surrounding Game Changer has become a serious concern for the makers. On its release day, a pirated print of the much-anticipated film was leaked online.

Reportedly, a gang of about 45 people is accused of orchestrating this piracy and running a targeted campaign of negativity against the film.

In the days leading up to the release, the producers and key members of the film team received threats on social media and WhatsApp. The group demanded money, threatening to leak the pirated print if their demands were unmet.

True to their threats, they began sharing major plot twists on social media two days before the release, escalating the situation by leaking the film online post-release. The pirated print was widely circulated on Telegram and other social media networks.

The production team has filed a detailed cybercrime complaint with evidence against the individuals involved. The police are now investigating whether this gang acted independently or if there is someone behind them.

Many pages on social media also contributed to spreading negativity about the film, sharing clips and revealing key twists. Complaints have been lodged against these pages as well.
