Saif Ali Khan Attacked By Robber, Gets Hospitalized
Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has reportedly been stabbed multiple times by an unidentified robber at his Mumbai residence in the wee hours of Thursday. The actor sustained grievously injuries and was immediately rushed to Lilavati hospital for treatment.
Going into the reports, an intruder barged into Saif Ali Khan’s residence in Bandra West at around 02:30 AM in a bid for robbery. The actor was sleeping along with his family at the time of the incident. Having confronted the robber, Saif was attacked by a knife several times.
The robber immediately fled the scene of offense and escaped from the house. The Bandra police are in the process of registering an FIR and several police teams have been formed to nab the culprit.
Khan has been admitted to the Lilavati hospital where he is undergoing a treatment. It is not clear yet if he was stabbed or injured. The police are investigating the matter and the Mumbai crime branch also took up the case immediately to find further information about the robber.
Saif was brought to hospital at around 03:30 AM and it was noticed that there are six bruises of which two are deeper. One of them is reportedly close to the spine.
Saif was last seen in NTR’s pan-India action spectacle Devara which was directed by Koratala Siva. He will reprise his role in the sequel which is likely to go on floors later this year.
