Director Shanmugha Raja aka Mysskin is known for his filmmaking style and unconventional shots. The director recently made controversial remarks about legendary music composer Ilayaraja. At the event of the film Bottle Radha, Mysskin stated that many people became alcoholics after listening to Ilayaraja’s music and later he apologized for the same.
Actor Vishal came down heavily on the director and also about the apology. Vishal said during a media meet ‘It has become a habit and what can we do about it?’ Vishal further said that some people can never change their nature.
Vishal said that Mysskin cannot disrespect Ilayaraja, whose music has helped many people come out of depression. Vishal also said that Ilayaraja’s music is in everyone’s blood and no one has the right to say such things about him.
Earlier, at the teaser launch of Bad Girl, Mysskin issued an apology to lyricist Thamarai, Lenin Bharathi, Aruldoss, Lakshmy Ramakrishnan, and producer Thanu. Mysskin clarified that his comments were misunderstood and he meant them to be humorous.
Mysskin earlier directed Vishal’s Thupparivaalan.
