In what could be a major development in Tollywood, Megastar Chiranjeevi has tested positive for Covid-19. Chiru himself announced this on his Twitter and it was quite shocking. However, he is asymptomatic and is doing fine. He is under home isolation where he quarantined himself.
65-year-old Chiranjeevi was supposed to hit the sets today with ‘Acharya’ shooting but before that Chiru underwent a covid test and the results arrived as positive. “Took a test for Covid before resuming ‘Acharya’ shoot as a protocol and unfortunately tested positive. I am currently asymptomatic and quarantining myself at home,” read the note posted by Chiru on his social media handles.
Urging who met him, Chiru wrote, “Request all those who met me in the last 5 days to also undergo covid test. Will update you on my recovery soon.”
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi has met Telangana CM KCR and Nagarjuna Akkineni the other day at Pragathi Bhavan. Chiranjeevi along with Nagarjuna met CM KCR and MP Santosh and handed over the cheques of donation to the CM Relif Fund towards the recent flood havoc in Hyderabad.
Mega fans immediately poured down with comments for his recovery and also we hope that Megastar recovers at the earliest with double the energy.
