‘Raja Saab’ Gives Due Importance To ‘Rani Saahiba’

Published by

Malavika Mohanan is one of the most talented actors in the South. She debuted in the Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam film industries already. The much-awaited Telugu debut is around the corner with Prabhas’ Raja Saab. Interestingly, Raja Saab is a commercial cinema but a standout film from other movies in a similar genre. The primary reason is that the leading lady gets a huge amount of screen time.

Recently, Malavika explained the reason behind doing the film. Billed to be a horror entertainer, Raja Saab is something that Malavika has never explored before. Apart from that, the character she is playing in the movie is throughout.

Malavika explained that usually, in movies starring star heroes, the screen time given to the heroine would come down. However, she finds Raja Saab as the exception since her character is there from the beginning to the end.

Malavika was seen in big budget flicks like Petta, Master, Maaran and Thangalan. Apart from Thangalan, all other movies had Malavika to serve the glamour purpose of commercial movies. Although, she has a unique character in Thangalan, the film’s failure did not help her.

So, Malavika pins big hopes on this upcoming movie. Interestingly, the film also features Nidhhi Agerwal. She is also reportedly having a lengthy role.

Director Maruthi faced a lot of criticism when the project was announced but he is confident of winning the love of Prabhas’ fans sooner or later, with this prestigious project. People Media Factory produces the film and the release date of the project will be out soon.
