Natural Star Nani is scoring consecutive hits not only as an actor but also as a producer. The latest addition to his success list is his new production outing, Court: State vs Nobody. Starring Priyadarshi, Shivaji, Harsh Roshan and Sridevi in lead roles, this movie was released on Friday and crossed the breakeven mark on Saturday.
Thanks to the super positive word of mouth through paid premieres, Court opened on a big note on Friday and continued its rampage at the box office on Saturday as well.
According to the trade reports, Court was made on a budget of around Rs. 11 crores and recovered almost Rs. 9.5 crores through non-theatrical businesses. It needed to collect a theatrical share of Rs. 7 crores to get a clean-hit tag. While Court collected Rs. 4.5 crore share through paid premieres and first-day run, it earned around Rs. 3.2-3.5 crores on its second day.
Due to the positive mouth talk, many screens were also increased for the movie. It is also expected to do exceptional business on the third day and may become one of Nani’s most profitable production ventures by the end of its theatrical run.
