Telangana’s government has proposed auctioning 400 acres of biodiverse land as part of the development activities. However, the public is seriously opposed, and many celebrities have also openly voiced strong opinions on the matter. Now, director Nag Ashwin has also reacted to the same.
During a press meeting today, Nag Ashwin opined that he has no clarity on how to approach this, and all he can share is his opinion that it may not be good to cut down trees on 400 acres.
“Even though it is for development, I don’t feel it is correct to cut down 400 acres. Maybe opting for a tier-two city would be better, but I am not sure. I think there are a lot of IT parks in that area and half of them are vacant. If something has to be done, that space can be utilized, but I think 400 would not be better,” he said.
Earlier, Nag Ashwin shared a story on Instagram saying, ‘Mana Kharma’ and apparently, it is related to the same issue.
