Jr. NTR is often compared to his legendary grandfather NT Ramarao. Tarak’s remarkably similar facial features, along with his impeccable dialogue delivery and acting prowess, make him a true heir to the yesteryear stalwart’s timeless legacy.
In the early years of his career, Jr. NTR often referenced his grandfather’s dialogues and songs and even acted in the movie Yamadonga, which was loosely inspired by NT Ramarao’s blockbuster socio-fantasy drama, Yamagola. However, he has never starred in a full-fledged remake of his grandfather’s cult classics.
In a recent interview, when asked about the idea of remaking his grandfather’s movies, Jr. NTR said that he’d love to star in a remake. “But I need the right producer and director. Given my grandfather’s legendary legacy in mythology, I must approach it with care. I’ll certainly consider it when the right opportunity comes,” he added.
Jr. NTR in the remake of any of NT Ramarao’s celebrated mythological magnum opuses will surely be a treat for Nandamuri fans and movie lovers. However, this will be a long wait for fans, as Jr. NTR will be occupied with Hrithik Roshan’s WAR 2, Prashanth Neel’s Dragon, and Koratala Siva’s Devara 2 for the next 3 years.
