David Warner Hypes Up Robinhood!

Nithiin’s upcoming flick Robinhood directed by Venky Kudumula on Mythri Movie Makers with Sreeleela playing the lead actress had its trailer launched today to superb response. The team also celebrated the pre-release event in Hyderabad, and it was also graced by none other than David Warner who will be seen in a special cameo.

Venky Kudumula shared his bond with Nithiin. “After my family, Nithiin is like a brother to me. I had the privilege of working on A Aa with him. I got the opportunity to direct him in Bheeshma. After five years, I had the chance to collaborate with him once more. He is an incredibly positive person. The support I received from the producers this time was unlike anything I’ve experienced before, and it truly shows in the grandeur of the movie. I will always be ready to make movies whenever they ask me.

We initially had Rashmika in mind for the role, but due to scheduling conflicts, she couldn’t join. However, Sreeleela stepped in, despite her packed schedule, and she was absolutely perfect for the character. Her presence brought a new energy to the film. Ketika, too, played a key role in generating initial buzz for the movie.

As for David Warner, I pitched the idea of having him in a cameo, and the producers worked tirelessly to bring him on board. They even flew him out here. When we shared the concept with him, he immediately liked it and agreed to be part of the project. Even though his role is brief, it will undoubtedly surprise everyone.”

Nithiin stated that GV Prakash music is a major highlight and elevated the film. “I’m really confident about how the movie has turned out. This is my second film with Sreeleela, and I’m sure this movie will make us a hit pair. She has brought so much life to her comic role, and she’ll truly entertain everyone. Ketika’s contribution to Surprise song was remarkable. Her presence took the song to the next level. She indeed made a big impact.

Mythri Movie Makers is one of the top production houses in India, and they’ve been on a roll with recent successes. They have big line up of movies in different languages. Venky is like a brother sent from above. The love and care he’s shown for me throughout this movie have been overwhelming. And a huge thanks to David Warner, the legend of cricket. His cameo has taken the movie to another level. Even though his role is short, it will leave a lasting impact. For the world, he’s a cricket legend, but for us, he’s always ‘Warner Mama’ and ‘David Bhai.’”

David Warner started his speech in Telugu saying Namaskaram. “From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Venky, I have to admit I was nervous stepping away from my usual attire and entering the world of cinema. But after speaking to you, I felt humbled by the opportunity to be a part of this project.
