Thalapathy Vijay is all set to take an active plunge into politics. Before stepping out of the film industry, Vijay is working on one last movie titled Jana Nayagan. The makers confirmed the film’s release date today officially. The film will have a grand Pongal release in 2026.
Pooja Hegde, Gautham Menon, Bobby Deol, Priyamani, Mamitha Baiju and others are a part of the prestigious project. Mamitha will reprise the role of Sreeleela from the original. KVN Productions is bankrolling the film and the team announced the release date this evening, with an interesting poster. Anirudh Ravichander is the music director.

Vijay was last seen in GOAT and he wants to end the career on a high note. He teamed up with critically acclaimed yet commercial filmmaker H Vinoth for this last film. The word in the tinsel town is that the film is the official remake of Balakrishna’s hit film, Bhagvanth Kesari.
