Yedho YeJanmalodo in combination of Ilaiyaraaja & Keeravani

‘Shashtipoorthi,’ featuring Rupeysh as the protagonist, is going to hit the cinemas soon. The main characters are portrayed by the iconic ‘Ladies Tailor’ movie pair, Rajendra Prasad and Archana.

A new song, titled Yedho Ye Janmalodo, has been released. The sublime song, rendered soulfully by Ananya Bhat, is one-of-its-kind because of its music director-lyricist duo. The legendary Maestro Ilaiyaraaja has set it to tune, while MM Keeravani has penned its lyrics that talks about a woman’s perspective of his man. This is the first song written by Keeravani for Ilaiyaraja.

Director Pavan Prabha recounts recording the song in Chennai with Ilaiyaraaja. The director sought a different approach for Yedho Ye Janmalodo, wanting meaningful and catchy lyrics. He approached Keeravani, who agreed after hearing the tune and, after a quick writing session, delivered an extraordinary lyrics.

The movie spans across various life stages, including a retro episode shot in Tathapudi near Yanam, where Rajendra Prasad and Archana appear unchanged from 30 years ago. The film unfolds across various locations, primarily in the vicinity of Rajahmundry, capturing the natural beauty of the Godavari region.
