Video: Rajendra Prasad Apologizes to David Warner

Veteran actor Rajendra Prasad is facing criticism on social media for his inappropriate comment on David Warner. During the pre-release event of Robinhood, Rajendra Prasad used an abusive word while praising Warner. However, the media and the fans of Warner found it objectionable. Rajendra Prasad has now tendered an apology for the same.

In a video message, Rajendra Prasad addressed the controversy and clarified that he does not have any bad intentions behind using that word. However, he also tendered an apology to everyone if it is hurtful.

“Even before attending the pre-release event, all of us had a meeting separately where we had great fun. I playfully teased Nithin and Warner. I even asked Warner to prove himself as an actor, in a playful manner. He responded to me, saying that I should prove myself as a cricketer. Whatever it maybe, I like Warner. I am feeling sorry for using that word and if it is hurtful, please accept my apologies. I will make sure to not repeat this again,” said Rajendra Prasad.

On the work front, Robinhood is directed by Venky Kudumula. Nithiin and Sreeleela played the leads. The film is hitting the screens on 28th of this month.
