When Telugu Meets Tamil : On Both Sides of the Camera!

An interesting scenario is evolving in South film industry right now. We have been witnessing the Tamil star heroes teaming up with Telugu heroes already. Joining the bandwagon are the Telugu star heroes who are tying up with Tamil directors. This interesting setup is creating more excitement among the audiences.

For instance, the combinations in Tollywood are as follows:

Atlee with Allu Arjun: The project in this combination was announced today. The team is extremely happy to take it forward. Billed to be a high octane pan-India film, there are high expectations on the film.

Nelson with NTR: NTR hinted about the project during the recent MAD Square success meet. Naga Vamsi is the producer of the film and it will be interesting. Additionally, NTR is working with Kannada director Prashanth Neel already.

Lokesh Kanagaraj with Prabhas: The buzz says that Lokesh Kanagaraj will do this film only after both the actor and director wrap up their prior commitments. The project will take place for sure but after almost an year or two.

Lokesh with Ram Charan: Just like above, Lokesh has plans to work with Ram Charan as well but there is no immediate clarity on the same.

Lokesh with Nagarjuna: Although, this is not a standalone project, Nag is acting in Lokesh’s direction in Coolie.

The combinations with Telugu director and Tamil hero are:

Suriya with Venky Atluri: Suriya reportedly signed his debut in Telugu with Venky. The project will begin at the earliest.

Karthi with Sailesh Kolanu: Sailesh Kolanu will reportedly bring Karthi to his HIT universe, and most probably, in the fourth part.

Kamal Haasan with Nag Ashwin: Already, Kamal acted in Kalki 1. But in the second part, which will begin soon, Kamal has a significant character to play.

Dhanush with Sekhar Kammula: Dhanush already acted in Kubera, in the direction of Sekhar Kammula.
