The silver screen debut of Akira Nandan, son of Power star and AP Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan and his ex-wife Renu Desai, has been a hot topic among fans and the film fraternity for the past couple of years. With Akira making public appearances alongside his father more often than before, fans are eagerly waiting for Akira to set the screens ablaze with his charm.
For the past few weeks, there have been a couple of viral speculations on the internet about Akira’s acting debut. While some speculate that Akira will be seen in a special cameo in his dad’s most awaited film, OG, others say that Akira is being personally groomed by his cousin brother Ram Charan ahead of his acting debut.
And Akira’s mother, Renu Desai, gave clarity on both the crazy speculations in a latest podcast. Renu Desai has confirmed that Akira is not acting in OG and that he is not being groomed by Charan. “I shared a few videos about him being groomed by Charan, and Akira had asked me not to forward such news to him,” Renu said.
Renu Desai also opened up about marriage, political entry, religion, a comeback in Tollywood, and much more. She said that even though she had thought of finding someone and marriage, she stepped back for the sake of her children, Akira and Aadhya. Renu also said that she had declined offers from political parties in the past, again to look after her children. “My Tollywood comeback with Tiger Nageswara Rao was both nostalgic and emotional.” I knew I’d cry as soon as the director said “action. That’s why I took Akira along to Tiger Nageswara Rao’s set for moral support,” she added.
Talking about her political entry, Renu Desai also said that she politely refused offers to join politics from several parties to take care of her children. The Badri heroine said that she seeks pleasure in helping people and animals through her NGO.
