Megastar Chiranjeevi’s fantasy film Vishwambhara started off with a lot of buzz, but things haven’t quite gone as planned. So far, the team has released two major promotional materials — first, the teaser, and more recently, the first audio single. However, neither really made the strong impact fans were hoping for.
The teaser received mixed to negative feedback, which reportedly led to delays in the film’s release date and slowed down OTT deal negotiations. Realizing the damage, the team quickly took action. A new, dedicated VFX team was brought on board to improve the quality. Industry buzz says even directors like VV Vinayak and Nag Ashwin are offering guidance to director Vashishta — but how much of that is true remains unclear.
The first single, “Rama Rama,” composed by MM Keeravani, sounds decent but didn’t connect well with the audience. With excitement levels currently low, it’s clear the next step for the team is crucial. Whether it’s a killer new teaser, an impactful trailer, or a chart-topping song — the third promotional content must be a game changer. Fans are already more excited about upcoming films like Anil Ravipudi’s next, which is a sign that Vishwambhara needs to win back the spotlight — and fast.
