Before the general elections in AP last year, maverick director Ram Gopal Varma has come up ‘Lakshmi’s NTR.’ This film was targeted at TDP, Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Lokesh, Jana Sena Party and most importantly at Pawan Kalyan.
Elevating Jagan, RGV showed Pawan, TDP and it’s boss in poor manner. However, the film had lacklustre narration and the audiences completely ignored the film while critics slammed RGV to the core. Seems like the controversial director has not learned any lessons and so this time he is targeting the Tamil Nadu politics.
Accordingly RGV is going to come up with a film called ‘Sasikala.’ Announcing this RGV tweeted, “Making a film called SASIKALA.. it’s about what a woman S and a man E did to a Leader ..Film will release before TN elections on the same day as the biopic of the Leader. “it is easiest to kill , when you are the closest” – Ancient Tamil Saying.”
In another tweet, RGV said the film will be about a highly complex and conspiratoral relationship between J, S and E P S which stands for Jayalalithaa, Sasikala and Edappadi Palaniswami who is currently the CM of Tamil Nadu.
One thing RGV should be aware of is, AP politics and TN politics are poles apart and the director might face the music of political parties if he crosses the line.
