Ever since the shocking demise of Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput, actress Kangana Ranaut has been at loggerheads with the ruling Shiv Sena party in Maharashtra. She even described Mumbai as Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK).
With her clash with the Maharashtra government still on, Kangana has moved all her shootings to the South. Recently, she wrapped up a crucial schedule for Jayalalithaa biopic Thalaivi in Chennai. And now, Kangana landed in Hyderabad for yet another major schedule for this ambitious biopic.
Apparently, Kangana, who is still having a tough time dealing with the Maharashtra government, felt that her shootings might be hampered with the Shiv Sena protestors if she shoots in Mumbai. It will not be a surprise if Kangana prefers to shoot all her upcoming projects in Hyderabad at least for a few months until the dust settles
Also, Thalaivi’s ongoing schedule in Hyderabad requires a large number of people. Yesterday, crucial scenes were shot at the Koti Women’s College with hundreds of cast and crew members on set. This is one more important reason behind Kangana opting for Hyderabad, especially when there has been a sudden surge in the COVID-19 positive cases in Mumbai.
