None other than Megastar Chiranjeevi also took a stand in support of hero Vijay Deavarakonda who has other day released a video message asking to kill fake news and gossip websites. Saying that even his family has suffered due to irresponsible writings, Chiru put up a tweet today.
“Dear Vijay Devarakonda, I can understand your anguish. Due to irresponsible writing, my family and I suffered many times. We stand by you. Please don’t let anything deter ur spirit to do good. Humbly request Journo friends not to peddle individual views as news. #KillFakeNews” tweeted Chiranjeevi, in support of Vijay Devarakonda.
One has to say that Chiranjeevi has tweeted quite sensibly when it comes to this. He has asked journalists to not write individual views as news but then hasn’t blasted any media house in the name of killing fake news.
At the same time, Chiru connecting his own family’s suffering is a bit relatable as he underwent some genuine beating from media on personal and political front couple of times.
For the call given by Vijay, the likes of Mahesh, Raviteja, Harish Shankar and Vamsi Paidipally along with Raashi Khanna have pledged their support. They are asking people to be cautious with fake news and gossip websites. At a time when the country is reeling with Covid-19 crisis, this call by Telugu cinema actors has surely got the attention.
