One of the most awaited remakes from Megastar Chiranjeevi is none other than Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer’s Telugu remake. A while ago the star actor’s production house confirmed that Jayam Ravi’s brother Mohan Raja is going to direct the movie. And that sparked off many discussions in film circle though it excited fans.
Many wonder why Chiru hired him, but then Raja’s track record is impeccable in recent times. He happens to be the director of the original version director of Ram Charan’s super hit film Dhruva. Maybe that might have made our Megastar take him aboard for Lucifer remake.
In fact when this film’s remake was confirmed by the original version’s director, hero Prithviraj, many thought that the Malayalam hero himself will helm Telugu remake as well. But then, the name of Saaho director Sujith Reddy popped up leaving everyone dazzled.
In no time, Sujith’s version of the script has upset Chiru thus bringing VV Vinayak’s name into the picture. But then, the project remained in the dark as Vinayak lost his Midas touch in recent times. Also, Meher Ramesh’s name was heard in this connection, but he’s said to be carving another remake for the matinee idol.
