Netflix is disappointed with the final 10 episodes of “Baahubali: Before The Beginning” web series, carved by Telugu directors Deva Katta and Praveen Sattaru. Earlier, the OTT giant had suggested some key changes and had put the project on hold. Finally there is some movement now.
The latest is that Netflix team has decided to re-working on the whole content made so far. Netflix is said to have decided to change the entire old team.
Replacing the whole of the team that delivered this Baahubali web series, which is based on the novel ‘The Rise Of Sivagami’, written by Anand Neelakantan, now Netflix is going for a fresh shoot of the project.
To be directed by the new director, the show will also get a new Sivagami in place of actress Mrinal Thakur who played the role in the scrapped version.
While the project is being co-produced by Arka Media, the original producers of Baahubali, Netflix is very particular about output and the quality, and that’s the reason they haven’t accepted the version crafted by two Telugu directors.
For the kind of budgets Netflix usually invests on these epic projects, they have the liberty and daringness to cancel the total project after the shoot.
Hope that Baahubali web series comes out with flying colours at least this time.
