In order to #CelebrateCinema, superstars like Chiru and Mahesh Babu along with other heroes have promoted Solo Brathuke So Better quite well on social media platforms. All that promotion has led to huge footfalls in theatres despite the fact that many cinemas are running only to half of their capacity due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Well, the point is, Sai Dharam starrer SBSB has amassed nearly 4.7 crores gross on its Day 1 from two Telugu states, thus proving a fact that audiences are ready to welcome cinemas.
Previously we have Tej’s Prathiroju Pandage releasing during non-covid times and it collected almost 5.6 crores gross on its first day from AP & TS. It proves a fact that Covid-19 scare is not at all bothering youths and they are ready to enjoy movies in theatres. While that’s a clear cut point, here is another thing to be understood.
The long run of a film, however, depends on family audiences will turn up to theatres but that also depends on the reviews, as well as the word of mouth a film gets. Though people are generous enough to watch even low-rated movies these days, family audiences will think twice before buying tickets. So, Solo Brathuke proved that audiences will come to theatres and also gave a warning to filmmakers that they should make good films to bring more people to cinemas.
