It’s Not Sankarabharanam, Overaction Is Must: Bellamkonda

Published by

Bellamkonda Sreenivas’s Alludu Adhurs garnered mixed reviews. Today, the team celebrated the success-event, and senior producer Bellamkonda Suresh spoke many things at the event, including the movie, his son, Sonu Sood, and also the controversy about a Nizam distributor.

Excited Bellamkonda Suresh revealed the revenue numbers saying the budget was 32 Cr rupees out of which 21 Cr rupees came back in the form of satellite and audio rights. He claims the movie already collected 10 crore share in 3 days with 3.5 cr on day one.

Well, about the ‘overaction’ comments on Bellamkonda Sreenivas in the movie, Suresh said they did not make a Sankarabharanam, a Saptapadi, or a Sagarasangamam. But he said they made a perfect festival commercial movie where overaction is a must.

Suresh admits the movie is full of overaction and he also says that a movie becomes a super hit with overaction. And most of all Suresh underlines that revenue is the key and the movie’s success is decided with the money it collected. Bellamkonda Suresh said the producer, hero, and everybody wants their movie to earn money and Alludu Adhurs is doing it.

While admitting to Alludu’s ‘overaction’ and ‘commercial’ aspects, Bellamkonda Suresh’s attempt to justify them as money-spinning elements are something that is raising eyebrows.

Sonu Sood Got Better Applause Than My Son

Bellamkonda Suresh called Sonu Sood a gentleman and a great human being for his daring acts to help the needy during the Covid-19 time. The senior producer also said Sonu Sood received better applause with his entry before the interval in the movie than that of his son. Bellamkonda Suresh further said he is not unhappy about that, but indeed very happy and proud to have Sonu Sood in the movie.

He Can’t Talk About Dil Raju

Bellamkonda Suresh also spoke few words about a Nizam distributor Srinu who criticized Dil Raju. Suresh said Srinu has no right to denounce Dil Raju or Sirish, as there is no distribution without them in Nizam. Bellamkonda also asked the OU-JAC leaders who have been supporting Srinu to understand that Srinu had not paid the GST for the movies he worked on and Husharu producer Bekkam Venugopal is still waiting for his dues to be paid. Bellamkonda Suresh praised Dil Raju and Sirish while recalled his association with them from the times of Aadi till Alludu Adhurs.
