The title and first look of hero Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming movie under the direction of Puri Jagannadh has been announced. The title is ‘Liger’ and it comes with the caption ‘Saala Crossbreed.’ When the title is classified, it’s a combination of Lion and Tiger and so the makers named it as ‘Liger.’
This is a pan-India film and Vijay Deverakonda is seen with boxing gloves in the first look. “Humbly announcing our arrival Pan India! Nation wide madness Guaranteed,” tweeted VD with the first look.
Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar is co-producing ‘Liger’ along with Puri and Charmme Kaur. “Presenting LIGER, starring the ruler of big screens & hearts – Vijay Deverakonda & the fiery Ananya Panday. Directed by the exceptionally skilled Puri Jagannadh, we can’t wait to let the world witness this story in 5 languages – Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada & Malayalam,” tweeted Karan Johar.
Ananya Panday is playing the female lead while it also stars Ronit Roy and Ramya Krishnan in supporting roles.
