Last week pan India star Prabhas’ forthcoming movie ‘Salaar’ under the direction of Prashanth Neel was formally launched. This film will hit the floors next week and we hear that the shooting will take place in coal mines.
A place called Godhavarikhani in Peddapalli district of Telangana has a good number of coal mines and opencast projects. In one of them, the shoot is expected to take place. Prabhas is likely to reach Godhavarikhani on January 26th and he would be shooting here for at least two to three weeks until the planned schedule wraps up.
The last time a Tollywood to shoot at Godhavarikhani was Rana Daggubati. For his debut film ‘Leader’ Rana reached here but during then the Telangana agitation was at its peak and the shoot got cancelled.
Coming to ‘Salaar’ a high octane action episode is likely to be shot here. More details are awaited.
