Powerstar Pawan Kalyan was on a singing spree last year. The actor signed almost four new movies and has taken two of them on to the sets. On Monday, Pawan also began the shoot for his new untitled project, an official remake of Malayalam super hit film Ayyappanum Koshiyum. Rana Daggubati plays a secondary lead in the film. Surprisingly, there is not much change in Pawan’s look for the film. The Agnyathavaasi actor is repeating Vakeel Saab’s look for the film.
Pawan Kalyan will play a police officer in the film. He will be seen as a Sun-Inspector who is sincere at work. Pawan reprises the role played by Biju Menon in the original. Biju Menon put on weight to play this particular role but Pawan seems to have taken no such measures for the character in the film. Pawan Kalyan will simultaneously shoot for another film because of which he chose to maintain the same look for more than one project. A picture came out from the film’s sets today where Pawan cut his beard and grew his gray mustache.
Trivikram Srinivas provides the screenplay and dialogues for the project. Sitara Entertainments will produce the film. Sagar Chandra who earlier directed Ayyare and Appatlo Okadundevadu is the film’s director.
