Praveen Gets Nag & Varun

Director Praveen Sattaru, who delivered a success with Garuda Vega, has taken a three-year-long hiatus. Ending such long wait, Praveen has lined up a couple of projects. His immediate next is with Nagarjuna. The yet-to-be-titled film has been finally locked. The script has got the approval of hero Nagarjuna without any changes.

Sources in the know quashed rumours that Praveen and Nagarjuna were doing the remake of Hindi film Raid starring Ajay Devgn. The sources add that it is totally a new story narrated by Praveen and it impressed Nagarjuna. Asian Cinemas Sunil Narang and Sharrath Marar are going to bankroll the film.

Meanwhile, Praveen is hunting for cast for other prominent roles in this film. Once the pre-production is done, the film will go onto the floors without further delay. Nagarjuna is working on Wild Dog with Solomon.

After the film with Nagarjuna is done, Praveen has an interesting film lined up with Varun Tej. This new film will be entirely shot in UK backdrop and it’ll be bankrolled by BVSN Prasad. Looks like, Praveen has picked up the pace.
