With the government of India lifting the restrictions on the seating capacity in the cinema halls, the producers and distributors are bringing their movies to theatres. Almost every film that is in production and post-production has a release date now. Starting from 5th February, there are more than 30 films lined up until October. In February, there are a bunch of films hitting the screens, which are made of small and medium budgets.
National-Award winning film AWE director Prashanth Varma comes up with ‘Zombie Reddy’ on 5th February. This is the director’s third movie. Vaishnav Tej’s Uppena is releasing on 12th February. Aadi Sai Kumar’s Sasi also arrives at theatres on the same day. Nithiin who scored a big hit with Bheeshma in February last year will meet the audiences with Check this month. He pinned many hopes on the film that hits the screens on the 19th of this month. Sumanth’s Kapatadhari, Sundeep Kishan’s A1 Express will hit the screens on 26th February.
There are a couple of small budgeted flicks releasing in February. Radha Krishna is a Telugu film releasing on the 5th. Jagapathi Babu’s FCUK will hit the screens on the 12th. Nandita Swetha’s Akshara is releasing on the 26th.
Among the many releases, there are two dubbing films as well. One of them is Vishal’s Chakra and the other one is the Kannada film Pogaru. Vishal’s film will get a good number of theatres but we have to see if Chakra becomes a hit
