Mega hero Varun Tej has poked fun at actor Teja Sajja who is debuting as hero with the film ‘Zombie Reddy.’ The film’s pre-release event was held last night and Varun was the chief guest for the event.
Speaking Varun said, “I debuted as hero around five years back and my experience is less compared to Teja’s who has 20 years. He is senior to us. I have seen him evolve and to debut with such a genre film is really appreciative. I wish him all the best.”
About director Prasanth Varma, Varun stated that amidst the run of the mill commercial cinema, he (Prasanth Varma) is making wide range of genres and films like this should be encouraged. Lastly Varun appealed to the audiences to watch films in theatres and wear a mask.
Hero Teja recalled an incident when he met Varun a few years back. “Whether it is coincidence or something else, I met Varun Anna when I was doing my trails. He said I should turn 25 to make my mark as hero. Today I’m here as a 25 year old debuting as hero,” said Teja.
“Also some people say that I have Mega family support but I never used get that and now I see it in the form of a six and foot handsome person. Chiranjeevi garu is super busy and so he could not come here but he has knowledge about this film ‘Zombie Reddy.’ I’m sure his blessings are with me and our team,” stated Teja.
On director, Teja vent out his full credit to him. “From beginning to the end, director Prasanth Varma deserves all the applause,” added Teja.
‘Zombie Reddy’ is releasing on February 5th.
