Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma received a rude shock from the regional censor board on his film ‘Disha Encounter.’ A four member committee had watched the film and they could not take a decision on the certificate. The censor panel opined that some scenes in the film almost resemble the real crime that took place in December 2019.
So, the censor committee declined to issue a certificate to ‘Disha Encounter.’ Shocked by this, director RGV has approached the revision committee and they might take a call. The revision committee will take all aspects into consideration before issuing the certificate. The panel has knowledge that ‘Disha Encounter’ is based on true events and also the pending cases on the film filed by Disha parents.
Under these circumstances, there is a huge uncertainty on ‘Disha Encounter.’ But these things are normal for director RGV and his poor content films. Audiences have stopped bothering about the director for his distasteful films.
