Panja Vaishnav Tej who is making her debut with Uppena is a nervous man at the Pre-release event of his first film, Uppena. He was nervous but did not miss anyone right from Chiranjeevi to the Junior artists who acted in the film.

I have to speak about my mother first. If not for you and your sacrifices, we would not be here. I am indebted for all my three uncles for being in support of us. I thank the entire family for standing behind me. The story is the real hero of Uppena. I thank Buchi garu so much. I thank assistant directors and co-directors of the film for supporting me. I thank people of Uppada for all the co-operation during the shoot,” Vaishnav Tej.

“I thank Mythri Movie Makers for giving me such a big launch. I was so nervous when I met Sukumar garu. But he said he will take care of me. I thank Sham Sir and his assistants. It is wonderful sharing the screen with Vijay Sethupathi garu. I am very lucky to share screen with you. Kriti learned Telugu in one week and said all her dialogues. I learned so much from her. I thank the fight masters and choreographers. I miss Prem Rakshit master after the shooting has completed,” he added.

“Uppena is what it is today mainly because of Devi Sri Prasad. I thank Devi garu, the singers, lyricists – Sreemani garu and Chandrabose garu. I thank Ramakrishna and Monika garu who almost created the World of Uppena with a sensational set. ఈ సినిమా లో ఉప్పెన అంత ప్రేమ ఉంది. ఉప్పెన అంత ఎమోషన్స్ ఉన్నాయి. అది మీరు గుండెల్లో పెట్టుకుని ఇంటికి తీసుకెళ్తారు అనుకుంటున్నా,” the young lad said.
