Usually, actors take break after their marriage. But, fortunately for hero Nithiin, he got few months of holidays due to lockdown. However, he is now working with double energy to complete all the pending works. His film Check is due for release on Feb 26th. Here are excerpts from interview with the actor.
Do you feel lucky to have got holidays after marriage due to lockdown?
I fortunately got long holidays. But, the lockdown enforced due to corona outbreak hit the industry very badly. I hope things come to normalcy like before very soon. Thankfully, audiences are coming to theatres and films that were released recently doing well at box office.
How did Check happen?
I’ve done too many love stories. I wanted to break the stereotypes. Then, Chandrasekhar Yeleti approached me with the story of Check. I loved the script as well as the role. Particularly, I was spellbound by the climax twist.
What kind of preparation underwent for the film and how was it working with Chandrasekhar Yeleti?
I didn’t do any home work for the film. But, it was very tough to work with Chanrasekhar Yeleti garu. It’s a daily learning process working with him. Only for my first film, I took more takes. And again for Check, it took 10 to 15 takes for me to shoot crucial scenes.”
There’s lots of talk about Kalyani Malik’s background score. How far his work helped for the film?
Kalyani Malik’s music is one of the main strengths of the film. The only song in the film became a chartbuster. And, the re-recording work is extraordinary. He gave life to the visuals with his music.
Pawan Kalyan used to be your lucky charm and Varun Tej too has turned lucky for you?
Pawan Kalyan garu will always remain to be my lucky charm. I’m a big fan of him, as you all know. Varun Tej is a good friend of mine. He attended Bheeshma event and the film was a big hit. He also graced Check pre-release function.
Nithiin also informed that he will start working for Power Peta, after wrapping up Andhadhun remake.
