Versatile actor Rajendra Prasad has shown his mark in Gaali Sampath where he is seen as a person who lost his voice. He has breathed life into the role of Sampath who is passionate about theater but his feeble voice acts as a major hindrance. The character has myriad emotions to display and senior actor Rajendra Prasad pulled it off with ease.
Rajendra Prasad has got a strong support in the form of Sree Vishnu who played Suri, the responsible son of Gaali Sampath. The father-son conflict has some moments. Performances in Gaali Sampath stood out. The film’s music and crisp editing also helped. However, the rushed climax should have been avoided.
Directed by newcomer Anish Krishna, the film has S Krishna’s story and Anil Ravipudi’s screenplay. The film is bankrolled by Sahu Garapati and S Krishna.
