Hari Hara Veera Mallu’s recently released glimpse video gave a sneak peek into Pawan’s legendary outlaw character in a warrior get-up. And the film’s stylist Aishwarya Rajeev, who had earlier worked on Krish’s period magnum opuses Kanche and Gautami Putra Sathakarini, reveals the entire story behind styling Pawan’s look.
Aishwarya revealed that Pawan will be donning as many as 30 costumes designed by her and that he will also be seen in 3 different looks. She is thrilled about the fact that Pawan gave his approval to all the costumes in just two costume trials. Also, most of the accessories which Pawan sports such as kadiam (bracelet) and footwear are custom-made by Aishwarya and her team.
Aishwarya said that a lot of research went into designing Pawan Kalyan’s outfits, colour patterns and accessories since the film is set against the Moghul and Qutub Shahis’ backdrop in the 17th century. Apparently, she visited various parts of India and purchased around 1,000 thans of fabric to design the customes for all the actors in this period action drama.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu, being directed by Krish, also has Arjun Rampal, Niddhi Agerwal and Jacqueline Fernandes in pivotal roles. AM Rathnam, the producer of big budget movies such as Khushi, Bharatheeyudu and Bangram, is making his Tollywood comeback with the film. Sankranthi, 2022 has been locked for the film’s pan-India release.
