After the success of his debut film Chi La Sow, Rahul Ravindran got a chance to work with Akkineni Nagarjuna, for the prestigious Manmadhudu 2. Amidst the huge buzz, the film released but ended as a big flop at the box-office. Nagarjuna’s fans and the moviegoers could not accept the fact that the super hit Manmadhudu’s second part is a huge disaster. The fans expressed their anger toward director Rahul Ravindran openly on public platforms. Time passed by and Rahul opened up on collaborating with Nagarjuna again during a Twitter chat.
One of Nagarjuna’s fans asked, “When is your next project. You already told you had an action script for Nagarjuna sir what about it?” to which Rahul has given a polite answer, which is close to reality.
Rahul answered, “Bro. aina fans inka thittukuntunaru nannu. Ippudu oddule. Hopefully some day. Hopefully someday I can make it up to all of them and make them happy. For now, my apologies for the disappointment.”
When asked about his upcoming projects, Rahul Ravindran updates that he has three films on his kitty. “Doing a supporting role in Shyam Singha Roy. Then there’s a lead role in the Tamizh remake of a Malayalam movie. And the my next directorial which I am currently scripting. First half got done a couple of days back.” revealed the actor.
