Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati are reprising the roles of Biju Menon and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the official remake of Malayalam hit film Ayyappanum Koshiyum in Telugu. Ever since the announcement came up, the fans are excited to see Pawan Kalyan donning the cop avatar again. Rana is acting with Pawan Kalyan for the first time and he is all excited about the project. In an interview with the Film companion, for the promotions of Aranya, Rana spilled the beans about the untitled AK remake.
“There is a Telugu culture that is uploved, brashed, and much more noisy than Malayalam people are. We brought all that Telugu culture back in the film.” revealed Rana Daggubati, adding, “Shooting for the film every day is fun.”
“It is going to be a slick, and a more dialogue-drama version of the original, very much true to the Telugu culture,” said Rana about the film with Pawan Kalyan.
Sagar Chandra is the film’s director. Trivikram Srinivas is providing the screenplay and dialogues for the film. Thaman S is the music director. The film is produced by S Naga Vamshi under the Sitara Entertainments banner. The film’s shoot is currently in progress.
Rana, on the other hand, is busy with promotions of his jungle-adventure drama titled Aranya, releasing on 26th March.
