Malayalam film Drishyam 2 was premiered on Amazon Prime Video last month and gained a unanimous positive talk from both the critics as well as the audiences. Now, director Jeethu Joseph is helming the Telugu remake of this film, titled Drushyam 2.
Venkatesh and Meena, who played the lead roles in the first part of Drushyam, are reprising their roles in this sequel as well. According to the sources, Jeethu is making a few changes to the script now. Apparently, he was unable to shoot a few scenes in Malayalam Drishyam 2 due to the lockdown. Now, he wants to shoot them in Drushyam 2.
Even Venkatesh gave him full freedom and thus, Jeethu is incorporating these changes without any pressure. Drushyam 2 will get done with the 60% of its shoot by April. The shoot will resume after Venkatesh wraps up the works of his upcoming release Narappa. Drushyam 2 is slated for release in July.
