It is already known that Malayalam hit film Ayyappanum Koshiyum is getting remade into Telugu with Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati playing the lead roles. Sagar Chandra is directing the project and Trivikram is penning the screenplay and dialogues of it. Everyone wondered about Trivikram’s inclusion in the project. The film’s producer Surya Devara Naga Vamsi gave clarity on it.
Speaking in a recent media interaction, Vamsi said, “Sagar Chandra is a young filmmaker who is handling a big multi-starrer project for the first time. We thought an experienced director like Trivikram Srinivas will help in making the project even bigger. Moreover, he knows how to handle multi-starrer scripts and also pens powerful dialogues.”
“We are making this remake a dialogue-heavy movie, to establish the ego-clash between the two leads in a powerful way, unlike the original. The impact of ego clash will be higher in this version. Someone like Trivikram will do justice to those dialogues and that is the reason why, we took him on board,” added Vamsi.
Rana already confirmed that the movie will be a slick, dialogue-drama that will elevate the Telugu culture on the screen. Aishwarya Rajesh will be paired up opposite him in the movie.
AK remake will hit the screens mostly in September this year.
