Paagal Trailer Will Be Available In Theatres Only: Vishwak

Published by

Young hero Vishwak Sen has been doing different genre entertainers and he is opting for content-rich films only. Next to be seen in Paagal, Vishwak is also doing a film titled Gaami and will soon start working for Oh My Kaduvale remake. Here are excerpts from Vishwak Sen’s interaction with scribes a day before his birthday.

How will you be celebrating your birthday?
I’ll be working on my birthday as well. Paagal’s entire shoot will be wrapped up by tomorrow.

What fascinated to sign this film, your character or the story?
The film’s teaser gives an impression that it’s an out and out entertainer. But, Paagal is not completely an entertainer. The film will have some extreme emotions, which you don’t expect. I’m a big fan of Mani Ratnam and Puri. You will see Puri’s mark film, Sukumar’s, Mani Ratnam mark treatment at different intervals of times. However, the trailer will give clarity on the film’s content.

Any unique promotional strategy in promoting the film?
Paagal’s theatrical trailer will be available only in theatres. You won’t be watching the trailer on YouTube. Earlier, we used to watch trailers in theatres only. That’s why it’s called theatrical trailer. It’s a new initiative now. Apart from that, we are planning 16 days of tour across all the districts in AP and TS and I’ll be distributing 1600 film T-shirts and also 1600 roses to random people.

How many releases you have this year?
By the end of this year, I will have a total of 3 releases. Paagal will release on May 1st. Gaami has completed entire shooting and post-production works are underway. Due to extensive CGI work, it will take 6 more months. And Oh My Kaduvale under PVP Cinema will start from April 3rd and the shoot will continue for 15 days.

Why the delay in Gaami?
The film had to be shot in different temperatures and different time periods. It’s a classic adventure and first of its kind in Telugu. The director even waited for a year to shoot sequences of Kumbh Mela.

Who will be directing your film with producer BVSN Prasad?
Ravi Kiran who directed Raja Varu Rani Garu has provided the story, while Vidyasagar Chinta who handled cinematography of Falaknuma Das will be wielding the mega phone.
