Trailer Talk: Biopic Under Madhavan’s Direction

Actor Madhavan has turned into a director and he has picked a biopic for his debut. The film ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ is based on the life of Nambi Narayanan, a former scientist and aerospace engineer at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

Nambi Narayanan worked with the likes of Vikram Sarabhai, Satish Dhawan and Abdul Kalam. But in the year 1994 Nambi was arrested in a spy scandal and in 1998, the Supreme Court found him innocent. His image turned upside with this incident and in 2019, Nambi received Padma Bhushan from President Kovind.

The trailer of ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ was dropped and Madhavan plays the title role as well in this film. In three different roles, Madhavan shines in all of them. He gets into the skin of the character and delivers what it takes.

Even more surprisingly Madhavan has penned the script and produced the movie. This is the biggest ever film in Madhavan’s career and the trailer covers almost all phases of Nambi’s life.

Simran plays the female lead while actor Suriya makes a cameo. Overall ‘Rocketry’ trailer is impactful with Madhavan’s one man show.

The film is slated for summer release but the date is not finalised yet.
