Kangana Ranaut’s Thalaivi the Biopic of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa directed by AL Vijay will release soon. The recently released trailer increased the hype of the film and now, the team released the first single, Ilaa Ilaa.
The song comes during Jayalalitha’s Prime in the film industry. The song is a replica of the popular song style of the 60s and 70s. The Rain Sequence with Kangana wearing a white saree is a dream sequence of the masses and youth in those days.
There are a couple of other sequences which has the heroine wearing the popular pant-shirt and skirt costume styles of those days. The song also replicates the music style of those days complimenting the visual proceedings. Saindhavi rendered the song which has lyrics by Sira Sri. Brinda composed Kangana’s dances in the song. GV Prakash is the film’s music composer.
Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shailesh R Singh produce the movie. With the trailer and this song working, the movie looks to be heading in the right direction to become a hot cake in the trade.
