Superstar Mahesh Babu has launched the Telugu teaser of Major today, while teaser in Hindi and Malayalam versions were released by Salman Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran respectively. Going by the teaser, Major will cover the life and inspirational journey of 2008 Mumbai attacks martyr Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan.
Adivi Sesh slips into the character of the Major and brings to screen the gallantry of the heroic officer, memorializing the iconic achievements of the martyr’s personal as well as professional life.
Major teaser begins with Sesh as NSG Commando who is severely injured is struck in a building which is set on the fire. Then, childhood episodes are shown. Prakash Raj and Revathi play his parents and there is influence of incidents in his childhood to become a soldier. According to him, a soldier’s duty is to protect every patriotic citizen of the country.
The other phases like Major’s love story with his schoolmate are also shown in the teaser that gives major importance to the heroics of Sandeep Unnikrishnan. While the first half of the teaser briefs various phases of the Major, second half is action filled.
Adivi Sesh excels as heroic officer in the teaser. Saiee Manjrekar played Major’s girlfriend, while Sobhita Dhulipala will be seen as an NRI hostage. Entire technical team gave complete support to director Sashi Kiran tikka.
Needless to say, Sesh and his makers have a potential winner on hand, as the teaser is extremely gripping, and it hikes prospects. The film is gearing up for release on July 2nd.
