After a gap of more than a year, a top star’s big budget film released recently and it’s none other than Pawan Kalyan’s comeback film after 3 years, Vakeel Saab. Released amidst a huge fanfare, Vakeel Saab received a positive response and its boxoffice collections were humongous in the opening weekend across the Telugu states.
In the first 3 days, Vakeel Saab ran to packed houses in several Andhra regions, where extra chairs were placed to cater to a sea of fans thronging theaters. After the blockbuster Sankranthi season in 2020, no other film enjoyed this craze till date except Vakeel Saab.
However, Vakeel Saab witnessed a drop in its collections on Monday. There were concerns about the film’s boxoffice fate. But the Ugadi holiday on Tuesday proved advantageous and the film collected a solid share thanks to the houseful shows in Andhra, Ceded and Nizam regions.
On the Ugadi day alone, Vakeel Saab collected a solid Rs 10 crore plus share in the Telugu states. Even though it’s a festive holiday, such a humongous share on day 5 is no joke. Vakeel Saab is inching towards the Rs 70 crore share milestone worldwide. With no new releases this week, is going to be Vakeel Saab’s show all the way.
