Chaavu Kaburu Challaga, starring Karthikeya, Lavanya Tripathi, Murali Sharma and Aamani in lead roles, is days away from its digital release on aha on April 23. Directed by Koushik Pegallapati, the film failed to make an impression in theaters in March, exploring a premise of unlikely companionship between an automobile driver and a widowed nurse. However, in what’s likely to be a first-of-its-kind move in the Telugu web space, viewers will get to see a different cut of the film for its digital premiere.
Reportedly, the director Koushik Pegallapati, has re-edited the theatrical version of the film, doing away with several major portions besides reshooting a sequence exclusively for its release on aha. The producers of the film, Bunny Vas and Allu Aravind, believe that this unprecedented decision would help audiences see Chaavu Kaburu Challaga in a different light on the streaming platform. This idea is not only aimed at viewers who’re yet to watch the film, but also to ensure curiosity among those who’ve seen the theatrical cut.
